At Geoffrey Field Junior School we welcome parents to volunteer in school. This can involve reading with children, helping with clubs, or assisting with school trips. 

Volunteers are required to complete an application form, which includes the requirement for two references, and following this the school will carry out a DBS Check to ensure you are safe to work with our children.

The school completes a risk assessment for all volunteers working with children within GFJS, and we ask you to read and sign a volunteer agreement. You can return this form with your application form or when you present your documentation for the DBS Check.
